Love, prayers, and support for the Ganser Family

W
Story

We all have become better people for witnessing the faith filled love story between Annie and Warren and their beautiful family. It can best be shown with their daughter, Mary's words she posted on Facebook: For the past year or so, as I have prayed the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary every Sunday and Wednesday, I’ve always paused before the second mystery and reflected on how it almost feels strange to call the Ascension glorious. I imagine being one of Jesus’ disciples - His friends - and what it must feel like to watch Him leave. Surely they had an understanding that what was happening as Jesus ascended into Heaven was good, was according to His plan, was glorious… and I bet they may have also thought, “How do I carry on without you now?” Yesterday, as our diocese celebrated the Ascension, my sweet daddy hitched His ride up to Heaven with Jesus. And suddenly I very much feel how something can be both glorious and brutally hard and disorienting at the same time. This was always the plan. His kingdom is not of this world. I can’t wait to dance with my daddy again when I get there some day. Working through grief is a forever work in progress. In addition to all of our continued prayers - this is our opprtunity to help this beautiful family navigate the roads ahead. It is never known when a hand is needed, so gift cards can always be there for whatever is needed - whether it is something needed for the home, a quick meal when too tired to cook, etc. Thank you for any help or support you decide to give.
