Support the Sulaymanov Family Milana Sulaymanov, our wonderful co-worker in New Jersey, and her family are going through an incredibly difficult time. While caring for their 12 year-old daughter and beautiful new baby, Milana has also been the sole caregiver and support system for her husband, who has been going through serious health challenges since September 2024. Her husband has been in and out of the hospital over a dozen times, undergoing two major surgeries due to Crohn’s disease that caused internal bleeding — one in December 2024 and another in February 2025 — resulting in nine separate hospital stays. After a brief period of recovery, the family received devastating news: his cancer, which had been in remission for a decade, returned and was confirmed in early August. His chemotherapy treatments and regular blood infusions for anemia now require extended hospital stays every three weeks. On top of that, he was recently hospitalized for a serious infection while undergoing chemo — a frightening and exhausting ordeal for the entire family. With no immediate family nearby in New Jersey, Milana has been carrying the weight of these challenges largely on her own. As they focus on treatment, recovery, and caring for their daughters, we would love to help make daily life a little bit easier. We are collecting gift cards for restaurants and meal delivery services to help lighten the load and provide comfort to the Sulaymanov family during this time.
