Support for Sue Olinger of Sue's Pies

Warrenton, VA

Story

Hi, friends & family of the amazing Sue Olinger! As most of you know, Sue was recently in a car accident. Thank goodness, she is on the mend, but it may be a long road to full recovery for her. She will be wheelchair-bound for quite some time. Taking care of a family member while they recover takes a lot of time, energy, & work so we'd like to help the family take care of some of the everyday needs, mainly ensuring that they have good, wholesome meals that can be ready quickly & with minimal effort. Keep in mind that although they are a two-person household, they will have family members in & out quite frequently to assist. Adding a couple extra servings might be a good idea to ensure that those who are caring for Sue can join her & Dan at meal times. They do have some really beautiful grandkids that will be around as well, so some kid-friendly freezer meals in smaller serving sizes might be a nice add-on for full meals. We've set dates through the 4th of June & will check in with Sue, Dan, & family to re-evaluate their needs & post more opportunities to help nourish them throughout the summer.

Special Notes

Sue & Dan don't have any allergies. There is the option to purchase a DoorDash gift card, which will help them have some variety & also minimal clean-up on days that are particularly full. Family has let us know that they particularly enjoy the following: -Soups of any kind -Italian Cuisine -Mexican Cuisine -American Cuisine
