My name is Theresa and I am a 36-year-old woman who is currently homeless and living on the streets with no family or support system to turn to. For 13 years, I worked hard as a manager at Safeway and built a stable life for myself. Unfortunately, I lost everything due to alcoholism, a disease that took control of my life. Today, I am proud to say that I am 9 months sober and committed to staying that way. I have also been diagnosed with cirrhosis, and despite the challenges I face, I am determined to rebuild my life, find work again, and live the rest of my years with dignity and purpose. I am asking for help to get back on my feet and secure basic necessities such as shelter, food, transportation, and medical care while I work toward becoming self-sufficient again. Any donation, no matter how small, would make a meaningful difference and give me a chance at a fresh start. Thank you for your kindness, support, and belief in my recovery. I sincerely wish you strength in your recovery journey. Nine months sober is a significant achievement, and you should be proud of that.
