Share the Love for Cameron and Andrea

Story

I normally don't post things on Facebook, but, To say the least, the last 2 weeks we've went through so much. Both Cameron and myself want to thank everyone for the amount of love and prayers we have received. It truly means a lot. It's been a difficult process but I'm back asking for prayer. He called me from work on April 3 was sick that evening but pushed through his shift. We went to er at 430 in the morning on April 4th. He was admitted to the hospital on April 4th with a knot showing on his stomach, he ended up being a hernia on top of that he had a prior surgery 5 or 6 years ago that left him with a scar on his stomach and he's not supposed to be on his stomach at all due to this issue. In February he was forced to lay on his stomach and that's when all these issues started happening. He had hernia and small intestine surgery on the 4th, was kept in the hospital until his Dr and surgeon discharged him on the road to recovery on April 14th. He came home, that same night he was taken back to the hospital, admitted, released on the 15 On the 15th he had a fairly decent day got his oxygen setup. Today, April 16th I had to get him brought back to the hospital via ambulance because he was weak, having trouble breathing and his abdomen was distended. The Er doctor is talking surgery again if they find any issues. His doctor knows what happened and even said he shouldn't have been placed on his stomach. The negligence of that issue where he was made to lay on his stomach could have an effect on his whole life. My point is where we've been in and out of the hospital, we've both had to miss work. I know everyone is struggling, but I'm on here to ask for help. I'll put my Cash app tag on here if anyone would like to make a donation to help out with expenses, travel, medical and food expenses. Anything would be greatly appreciated. When he does get to go home, I'll be going back to work and working from home if I receive authorization to do so until he's on the mend and able to return to work. I also have ONE PAY through Walmart and you can send money that way if you also have a onepay account. Even if you can't donate, we will take all the prayers we can get. I love this man with all my heart, he works so hard every day and this is killing him not being able to work, but he has a great boss who checks on him. My employer has been great to work with me as well, but neither of us are able to work until he's on the mend. Anything will be appreciated. Cash app : $Andrea24808 Onepay: @andrea-moorehead-2 PayPal is @andreamoorehead Or my email is [email protected] UPDATE: We are now being transferred to CAMC MEMORIAL cause the surgeons at Raleigh General can't fix the mess they made. I'll be headed down there this evening following behind the ambulance. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and I promise to pay it forward. Two staples came out from what were told and he's leaking sludge into his body which is causing the abdomen to be distended. This is ridiculous. Please pray y'all. UPDATE: We are at CAMC MEMORIAL and he's in surgery now. They are going to go in and try to repair the leak from the prior surgery. There is air and liquid leaking into his abdomen because the missing staple(s). They are talking surgery today and let it heal a couple days and then surgery to close it on Saturday. We've been off work since April 4. If there is anything anyone can do to help with expenses I promise I'll pay it forward one way or another. I just want my fiance to get to feeling better so we can get back to normal. This man is so good to me and always has been. UPDATE: Had to do an ileostomy on him. May be temporary, may be permanent. There is a lot of swelling so they have a vacuum dressing on it, they will check it again on Monday and see if the swelling has gone down if it has they will close the site and remove the breathing tube. Another surgery on Monday to close him up. He will be on breathing tube til then. UPDATE: Vitals are improving, doing surgery number 5 tomorrow to close the vacuum wound, will require mesh and skin graft. Anyone that can make a donation to help get us through til I can get back to work, I promise to pay it forward. Once he is home and setup, I can work from home on a week by week basis until he's ready to return to work. Once he's able to go back as well, I'll be returning to onsite work. UPDATE: DIDNT GET TO CLOSE INCISION TODAY. GOING TO GO BACK INTO SURGERY tomorrow or Wednesday to try and close incision after swelling goes down a lil more. They'll either do mesh with skin graft or close the incision up. I started a GoFundMe. Here is the link. https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-for-camerons-medical-recovery/cl/o?lang=en_US UPdate 4/22- Cams got an incision on his stomach that is closed with mesh and artificial skin covering. It will be reevaluated in 7 days. A new layer will be applied and will eventually have a skin graft. He came off the breathing machine today. Vitals are improving. He's on a CPAP machine. He's got a long road ahead and we're gonna do it together. We are still needing help if anyone is able to help. I've been with Cameron during this whole process, if he would have been sent to CAMC when requested it may have went differently as far as surgeries goes, but where the previous hospital ignored the request, here we are. He's getting better day by day but was told today that he would be here for a little while. Any sort of donation would be helpful . My information is in the original post but my address is P. O box 13, itmann, WV 24847. We are very grateful for any help we receive. He's come along way, but still has a way to go. Replaced the wound vac 3 times, added a JP drain today to drain an abscess. He's still very weak. Not sure the longevity of him in the hospital but they are talking about in house rehab once he's released from here which won't me for several weeks. He's also gonna have the wound vac change every couple days. Thank you all for the love and prayers and God Bless You. All I'm asking is for God to heal him. Please....
