I’m raising funds for my very special friends Anna and Phillip and their family as they face one hardship after another. Anna has already been out of work because of illness and was recently let go from her job. Their son needs surgery to have his tonsils removed and tubes put back in his ears, and Anna also needs to have four teeth pulled. Now, on top of all of that, Phillip was involved in a head-on collision this afternoon and will need a hip replacement sometime this week. He has a long road of recovery ahead and will be unable to work for some time. What makes this even harder is that this family does not have health insurance. With Anna out of work, Phillip facing surgery and recovery, and their son needing surgery as well, the financial strain is ongoing and will continue as medical needs and lost income add up over time. Support from this fundraiser will help with their medical expenses and help ease the burden while Phillip is unable to work and Anna is trying to care for her family through all of this.
