Hello, my family and our 2 dogs moved to Phoenix very recently because we have wanted to live here for many years and saved until we were able to move. Just before arriving here, we had our vehicle stolen along with all of our possessions that were in the trailer we were pulling. Every single thing we own was stolen. We had stopped along the way to rest and got a hotel room. When we got up the next morning, I went outside to get some things out of the trailer and it was gone. Everything! Gone! All our possessions were gone and seemingly not to be found. We wound up staying there a few days to secure another vehicle, which turned out to have a blown head gasket and some other problems. It lasted less than a month. Now, in Phoenix with no transportation, barely any clothing or housewares, we don't have a house yet. I have health issues, therefore limiting the type of job I can get. We are both very hard working people and are usually the ones helping others. Both our jobs are waiting for us. The issue is, we don't have a vehicle, or a place to live. We are staying in a hotel, which is really too expensive. We are hoping to be able to get a vehicle, enough to get into a place and just possibly the bare necessities. We have no one to turn to for help as we are our only family other than my mother in law and she simply is in no position to help. This is very uncomfortable for me as I have never had to ask for help before and don't really know how. We are just in a position where without help, I just don't see any way out.
