As many of you may know, Barry Reel has been battling heart issues for a few months now. He had a massive heart attack, a milder one, and then a stoke all within a week. He had a heart cath done and they knicked an artery so he's also in recovery from that. He was told he would need a quadruple bypass, that his heart is only operating at 40%. The bypass had to be postponed until the artery healed. Just this week his carotid artery collapsed which landed him back in the hospital. He is now scheduled for the bypass on Wednesday, 8/5. He will be hospitalized for at least 5 days post surgery and then home to recover. He is in the hospital in Charlotte, which means daily travel for his wife, Dana. She is also trying to maintain normal life at home in the midst of this. We would like to help them out by taking gift card and snack donations. We will also start a meal train once he is home. This will help ease the financial burden of the travel and hospital stay. If you feel led to donate, please do so. If not, prayer is a powerful thing. We are praying for complete and total healing for Barry and wisdom and direction for the doctors and nurses that are taking care of him. Barry is fond of Munchies crackers...Cheetoh and nacho flavored; plain lays chips; BBQ Fritos; chocolate and peanut butter snacks; nuts; and drinks flavor packets in bottled water. Dana likes the Munchies crackers; Reese's oreo cups; Dr. Pepper; Coke; Pepsi; and any kind of snacks.
