I was a passenger princess with my husband for the past 3 years. (I went on the road with him while he drove a truck cross country). We sold our vehicle due to we wouldn't need it, so we thought. Due to health issues my husband is now on disability with his company and I went back to work. Right now we live in a extended stay hotel 4 mins from my job. I have a bicycle that I ride to and from but I limited on where I can go if I find a better paying job because I dont have the transportation that I need to commute. I want to at least have a Electric Bike but I really am looking to get enough money up to atleast put a down payment on a economical car. Not new, or anything that have bells and whistles just a running, reliable car.
I just want to get a reliable vehicle so I can find a higher paying job. I live currently in Houston and anyone knows a bike in houston ESPECIALLY during summer will only get you so far. I would also like to move out of this Extended stay but I cant because I cant move to far away from my work. So I am kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place without a car.
