Many of you may know that our brother, Justin has been going through some health problems (14+ years to be exact). On top of all that, on Halloween night, he couldn’t breath and was taken by ambulance to Hartford Hospital. He had pulmonary embolisms in both his lungs and said that there is 10% chance of survival. His o2 was in the 60s, his heart was in distress and they had to think fast. They put in a central line and had to do a “clot buster” which is also known as thrombolytic agents to break up the clots. This was a very risky procedure but the only option in his case. It was a waiting game to see how his body reacted to this medication, not knowing if he would make it. Somehow, someway , he pulled through. He has a very very long road ahead of him, the unknown of even being able to go back to work with a lot of PT and OT in the future. He is no way out of the woods yet, with a lot of unknowns and now ALSO being diagnosed with diabetes on top of everything else to worry about. I’m creating this to take some burden off of Renee as Justin may have to medically retire which is a long process and could be left unpaid for months, while also still paying for insurance out of pocket! The last thing she needs to worry about is meals or groceries! So let’s come together to take a little stress off their shoulders. ❤️
Meals are great to be delivered to their house, but also gift cards and or groceries are also an option! Anything is helpful! No real dietary restrictions, except with Justin getting diagnosed with diabetes now, we ask that you just be mindful of that! There is also an option to purchase gift cards.❤️ 4 Clearwater Drive, Stafford Springs, CT
