Support Taleah Vallés-Peters

W
Story

Dear friends we really appreciate your support through this treatment. It's going to be a doozy. I have 12 weeks of weekly chemo, followed by 12 weeks of hard core chemo. Then surgery, then radiation, then more surgery. It’s going to be be nearly a year of intense treatment, but the first 24 weeks are going to be the most so my doctor say. That's when my family really needs your help.

Special Notes

Meal train deliveries: Sundays and Thursday, if you could double recipes so we can freeze one, that would be great (like in those 8 x8 foil pans), but not required. We also love a bagged salad!l or a veggie tray. Food Preferences: Vegetarian lacto-ovo but prefer plant-based. If you aren’t comfortable cooking that way, never fear, here are some websites to make it easy for you! If that is too overwhelming, we would love your favorite vegetarian recipe, special K loaf, tater tot casserole, veggie lasagna, breakfast for dinner. We are so grateful for your care. Favorite recipe websites, with lots of vegetarian options: budgetbytes.com smittenkitchen.com www.plantyou.com www.noracooks.com Things we don’t like: Mustard Mayo Pickles Relish Sauerkraut (which is a real bummer because of all the health benefits) Dill Blue cheese Safe foods for Kids (really Auggie, Olympia likes most foods): Nothing spicy Cheese Quesadillas Rice Bread Yogurt String Cheese Cucumbers Mangos Peaches Avocados Frozen Brocolli Our favorite food types are curries (not spicy) Thai or Indian, Mexican, Italian, Asian, and Buddha bowl meals (example here). If you’re like I want to support you, but I’m not a cook/I truly don’t have the time! Trader Joe’s has so many prepped meals and great vegetarian recipes (you’ll have to double check, what is vegetarian or not though). If you're like, I'm going to order y'all food. Great, we love that. Here are our orders, we are including my mom Elaine who will be staying with us. Ryan eats chicken while the rest of us stay vegetarian.
