A family in our SouthSide Elementary Charter School community is facing an unimaginable crisis. The mother of two elementary-aged children, one in second grade and one in fifth grade, experienced a very fast terminal illness and passed away on 9/1. The children and their father do not have extended family nearby and will need substantial practical and financial support in the difficult days, weeks, and months ahead. This fundraiser has been established with the family’s permission to help ease some of their immediate burdens. Contributions will help the family with meals and food delivery, groceries, transportation, household necessities, childcare, time away from work, funeral-related expenses, and other needs that may arise. Any amount will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser is another valuable way to help.
