Support for the Dombkowski Family

Story

I created this Giving in Kind page for my brother firefighter, Eric Dombkowski and family, someone who means so much to their family, friends, church family, and extended fire family. Eric has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and is preparing to undergo surgery. As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly difficult and uncertain time for Eric and his entire family. I created this page because I wanted to have one place where I could keep our extended fire family, church family, friends, and loved ones updated on Eric’s journey and let everyone know how they can support him and his family. There are so many ways we can come alongside them during this season—through prayer, encouragement, meals, helping with practical needs, financial support, or simply letting Eric and his family know they are not walking through this alone. As firefighters, we understand the importance of having each other’s backs. As a family of faith, we also know the power of prayer and community. Right now, my brother and his family need both. My hope is that this page will help bring our family and community together, keep everyone informed, and provide opportunities for us to give in kind in whatever way we can. Thank you for standing with Eric, praying for him, and supporting our family during this difficult journey. We are incredibly grateful for every prayer, every message, every act of kindness, and every person who chooses to walk alongside us. Together, we can remind Eric and his family that they are surrounded by people who love them and are in their corner.

Special Notes

A couple of helpful notes: The family does not eat seafood, so please keep this in mind when preparing or ordering meals. If you are preparing a meal, please use a disposable dish or container so the family does not have to worry about returning dishes during this busy and difficult time.
