Celebrating the Fischer Family as They Welcome Baby Boy Fischer! While their relationship began in the classrooms at Hult International Business School in Boston, Maria and Thorsten’s friendship blossomed into a loving partnership filled with adventure, trust, and love. Their story has taken them across the globe—from exploring Shanghai together during school to building a life in San Francisco. It was there, in the heart of the city, that they were married in a heartfelt ceremony at the San Francisco courthouse. Life brought them to Portland, where they have built a warm and welcoming family with their daughter Oli and their pup Filo. Oli brings so much joy and laughter into their lives, and now, Oli and Filo are now eagerly awaiting the arrival of their little brother. Oli is ready to step into her new role as the proudest big sister. While being far from their immediate families in Colombia and Germany has its challenges, Maria and Thorsten have found immense love and support from their chosen family here in the States. As they prepare for the arrival of Baby Boy Fischer, they are filled with gratitude for the friends and community who make Portland feel like home. To help during the early months of Baby Boy Fischer’s arrival, Maria and Thorsten would deeply appreciate support in the form of an ongoing care plan.
