This Christmas Eve, our family’s world changed in an instant. Mitchell is a bright, sweet baby who is just three months old — the kind of baby who squeezes your finger, recognizes his parents’ voices, and already has a room full of people who adore him. On December 24, he was rushed by Life Flight to Shands Hospital after doctors discovered a large mass causing dangerous pressure on his brain. Since then, the days have been long, heavy, and full of moments no family ever expects to face. Mitchell has undergone extensive imaging, emergency procedures to relieve pressure, and a major brain surgery on December 26 that lasted over eight hours. The neurosurgical team was able to remove approximately 80% of the tumor while prioritizing Mitchell’s safety and preserving critical brain structures. Right now, Mitchell remains in the Pediatric ICU. He is stable, closely monitored, and surrounded by an incredible team of specialists who are focused on helping him recover — step by step — so he can safely move forward to the next phase of care. His parents are living hour-to-hour, balancing hope, fear, exhaustion, and fierce love for their baby. Morgan and Christian have not left Mitchell’s side. They are navigating the unimaginable while also caring for each other, their 6-year old daughter, communicating with doctors, and trying to hold onto moments of normalcy in the middle of a medical storm. Travel, hospital stays, meals, and day-to-day needs have quickly become overwhelming — especially as Morgan’s maternity leave will not last forever. This page exists so our family, friends, and community can do what they do best: show up and help us support the Dickinson family as they care for their son. Meals, gift cards, travel support, and practical help allow Morgan and Christian to focus on what matters most — being present with Mitchell, advocating for him, and loving him without distraction. There is no expectation and no pressure — only gratitude. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, is a reminder that they are not walking this road alone. If you are unable to make a donation, please pray for Mitchell and pass on requests for prayers to everyone you know. We are incredibly grateful for the network of prayer warriors who continue to surround us, lift us up, and carry us through this season. Let’s rally around this family with love, prayer, and tangible care during the hardest chapter of their lives.
