If you know the Ahmad family than you know that Naima, Naveed, and Isa are a wonderful family who have been an integral and involved part of the Mission Kids community during their time with the school. Just this past year alone, Naima served as the Alumni Chair on the Board of Directors and coordinated this year's Spring Fiesta Block Party, the first of its kind in the entirety of Mission Kid's history. It is with a heavy heart that we share they have experienced the devastating loss of their baby they were happily expecting later this year. We all send them our deepest, heartfelt condolences and wish them much strength and compassion during their time of grieving. Meanwhile, during this difficult time the Mission Kids community is coming together to support the Ahmad family in their time of healing. As a result, we are asking our community to please come together and help in the form of providing and delivering groceries, childcare for Isa, or even taking care of chores in the home.
