After ## days in the NICU and ICC, Grace is finally coming home! As a CDH + CHD baby, she's braved ventilators, surgeries, PICC lines, feeding tubes, and countless other procedures. For the past 3 months, Andrew, Emily, and Eva have split their time between the hospital and home. Instead of snuggling their newborn at home, they've......... As mom, dad, and big sis transition into this new season, their needs will be shifting as well. Grace is coming home with a feeding tube, which will require a lot from Andrew and Emily as they take on all of her cares at home. And because of her diagnoses, she will also have some other vulnerabilities for a while. As you might imagine, the cost for a hospital stay like Grace's is astronomical. While many expenses will end up covered by insurance, others won't. In addition to parking passes, trips to and from the hospital, and loss of work income, they will be needing some unexpected items like adaptive clothing and medical supplies.
