Support for Susan and Family

W
Story

Mom’s journey began with her cancer diagnosis, which turned into a tough fight involving major surgery and an ostomy. Through every hospital stay and health hurdle, her strength and spirit have inspired us all. Recently, we made the decision to bring in hospice care—not to give up, but to make sure she has the absolute highest level of comfort, extra support, and specialized daily care right at home. Bringing in hospice isn't the end of her story; it’s about surrounding her with love and giving her body every possible chance to rest, rebuild her strength, and heal. Eating well is a big part of keeping her energy up, and your help with meals frees us up to focus on what matters most: spending quality time with her. Thank you so much for standing by our family and supporting Mom on this road.

Special Notes

YES: Tender meats (ground beef/turkey, pork, soft fish), scrambled eggs, white rice/pasta/bread, mashed potatoes (no skins), well-cooked peeled veggies, and soft fruits (bananas, peeled peaches, seedless melon). NO: Raw veggies, leafy greens (spinach/kale), whole beans, nuts, seeds, whole grains, caraway seeds, sauerkraut, or tough skins. Mild seasonings only (no heavy spice or grease). Thank you!
