On the evening of July 4, 2026, our beautiful friend, Lakesha Davis was struck by a bullet that entered the front of her home. Unfortunately, she was shot in the head and was immediately rushed to the hospital ICU where she miraculously survived and eventually was moved to recovery. In three short weeks, Lakesha has thankfully woken up, has a sound mind and is moving around as much as she is able, though she has a long road of recovery. Because the gunshot caused significant damage to her eyes, she is now without sight and will need our support as she adjusts to her new normal. Lakesha is so thankful to be alive and even more thankful for all of the love and prayers that she has received during this unimaginable time. We would love to continue to do as much as we can for her and her three children. Thank you for all love offerings for Lakesha and we will continue to keep this page updated.
