Our UMI family has always been about more than just work — we take care of each other, especially in difficult times. Amber, one of our newest team members, is facing something no parent should ever have to endure. Her three-month-old baby recently became ill and stopped breathing while at daycare. Amber is now staying with her baby in the hospital, caring for her little one and navigating a very challenging time. As she focuses on her baby’s recovery and her family’s well-being, we want to come together to show her that she’s not alone. Amber is still new to UMI and has limited support, but that’s where we come in — her UMI family. By joining this meal train, you can help lighten Amber’s load in a meaningful way. Providing a warm meal (or a gift card for takeout) can make a big difference, giving her one less thing to worry about and reminding her that she’s surrounded by a community that truly cares. Let’s show Amber what it means to be part of UMI — where compassion, connection, and support are more than just words. Together, we can bring comfort, nourishment, and hope to her family during this difficult time.
