Vintage family, as most of you have been asking and are concerned about our brother Bill Metcalf and his family. He continues to remain hospitalized until his scheduled surgery on Monday. He will be having a triple by-pass heart surgery. Being the family at Vintage that we are we would like to alleviate some stress and continue to cover them in prayer, encouragement, continued love, and some immediate support as we are able. Debbi will be remaining at the hospital prior to surgery and post-surgery. Therefore, we would love to show our love and support by keeping her healthy and nourished during this time. In the evening she will be staying with her son in Round Rock or when she feels she is able to leave the bedside of the love of her life. We have set up this site for you to show your support by giving towards their needs at the moment in gift cards. This will allow Debbi to be able to chose her meals along with the times. ***The timeframe we are looking at from pre-surgery thru post-surgery Is: August 10th thru August 24th providing also some wiggle room for extended stay**** This site is where you can post, and stay updated as the Metcalf's proceed in this journey. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (NIV) "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you." Look to him for everything.... for he is with you always, and is so faithful in all that concerns you!
Hello everyone. Thank you so much for all your support, prayers, calls, and all the meal gift cards that have been provided. Bill is home and continuing to recover. He is still in pain and has a little bit ahead of him before he can return to some type of normal. Meanwhile, if we can continue to support Bill, Debbi, and Krissi where we can continue to ease some of the pressures involved by creating a meal train for them. The calendar has been made visible with dates of when meals would be greatly appreciated. There are some restrictions - no process food, no salt (very minimal), gluten intolerance, bascially rye oats, barley, whole vegetables, and whole meats.
