Abby’s cancer journey started in October of 2023. She has fought long and hard and done it with positive and strong spirit. Abby has made the decision that she no longer wants to pursue treatment for her cancer. The disease has progressed so aggressively that chemo will do more harm to her body than any good. She wants to be home enjoying her favorite things and spending time with her loved ones. She expressed her wish to pass at home rather than the hospital so, we came home on hospice care. She has fought so hard and so bravely, making decisions no kid ever should, so we don’t see this as giving up. This is changing what we are fighting for. While it is heartbreaking for our family, we respect, understand, and honor her wishes and we ask that everyone does the same. We don’t know how much time we have left with our precious girl. Please be in prayer for her comfort as her health declines. Pray for our family and Abby’s friends. Pray for the care team that has loved on us and supported us over the last two years. And please keep praying for the warriors still fighting. There are so many kids and families battling this horrible disease, we are just one of them. We love you all so much and we are eternally grateful for the love and support you all have shown us through this battle.
If you wish to visit please message the family first to schedule a good time as we never really know from day to day how things are going to be.
