Support for Emily

Story

My dearest sister Emily was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation a few years ago. Chiari Malformation is a rare condition where the brain tissue begins to grow into the spine. Some symptoms that occur when this happens are forgetfulness, headaches, numb arms etc. Emily has been managing these symptoms for the last few years and is now at a point where decompression (brain) surgery has been decided to help reduce these symptoms. While my sister is getting ready for the surgery and recovering from the surgery we will need a lot of helping hands. As some of you may know my sister now has a 1 year old and a 17 year old and my mom is taking care of an autistic 6 year old. Recovering from surgery is hard but adding kids to the mix can make it even harder for both my mom and I to take care of my sister as well as everyone and everything around the household. During this recovery time my sister will not be able to work at all so help with finances would be wonderful as well. This page has multiple sources of ways that you can help from meal trains to donations. Some ways that you could help: 1.Sign up to bring a meal 2.Send Emily a gift from her wishlist 3.Donate money to the fundraising section 4.Send a gift card 5.Sign up to help with chores 6.Sign up to help with the kiddos
