The idea for the Strong Like AK House in Belmont began with a simple but powerful dream—to create a second home away from home for families traveling for pediatric cancer care. That dream became reality when South Point Baptist Church opened their doors and hearts, offering a space we could transform into a sanctuary of rest and relief. With the help of our community, we filled the house with love—from beds and linens to pots, pans, and prayers. This house is more than a roof and walls—it’s a reflection of Adam’s legacy, a space built with compassion and hope, and a promise to every family who walks through the door: You’re not alone. We are just getting started in Belmont, and we are so grateful to all who have helped make this house a reality.
