Eric South is a beloved husband and father of two young boys. In February 2021, he was diagnosed with a grade IV Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) brain tumor. There is no known cure for GBM. He underwent surgery and treatment through a trial at M.D. Anderson last year, but the cancer has returned. Eric is now enrolled in a new cutting-edge vaccine + immunotherapy clinical trial at UCLA Health. He will undergo surgery on April 26, followed by a series of indefinite treatments in Los Angeles.
