Hello I’m Crystal Winningham. I have 3 beautiful children 11 year old Paisley, 2 year old twins Jet & Jasper, plus my amazing husband Cameron. I support my family of 5 as a pediatric home health nurse. I was injured at work on a mopped floor resulting in a broken wrist. I broke both my radius and ulna. Due to complications of my injury I was hospitalized last night 12/4/25. I lay typing this from my hospital bed awaiting surgery because being a mother never stops. The plastic surgeon is going in and releasing the pressure on my median nerve then best case scenario I get pins and screws placed in my wrist. Worst case scenario I get external fixation with the metal bars coming out of my arm. I’m going to be out of work for a little while and it takes awhile to get short term disability or workers comp pay. I’m asking for meals to help alleviate some of the stress.
