Hello everyone. As many of you all know, my beautiful sister in law, Chrissy, recently received some devastating news. After courageously battling breast cancer 3 years ago, her scans came back with a reoccurrence in the same area. We all thought she had won the fight. Now she must prepare for round two. She and her family will be very busy for the next few months running to treatments and doctor appointments. Many people have reached out to find out how to offer help and support to Chrissy and her family. Preparing meals for her chemo days will help eliminate her or her husband, Jimmy from having to cook after they get home. With having so many things on their minds, I would like for there to be one less thing for them to worry about. Her chemo days as of right now are on Thursdays. They will begin on 5/19/2022. Let’s rally around them now to show how loved they are! Right now we want to keep them well fed and we will update this page as their needs change. Thank you all for your support! #round2 #cancersucks
Chrissy and Jimmy have 2 lovely daughters. Brenna , the oldest, is slightly picky and as she says “has the diet of a toddler.” Butter noodles, breakfast foods and Mac and cheese are always a favorite. Peyton, the baby, is not as picky and likes anything a typical teenaged girl would like. Chrissy and Jimmy are not as picky but do try to eat healthy. Gift cards to some fast food and local restaurants are also good options. Pat's Select Ott's Bistro Di Marino Salsa Fresca PJ Whelihans Don Francos Apollo pizza LaScalas Fire Angelo’s Pizzeria Chef Chun. are some local restaurants near them. Also, Wawa, Dunkin and Chick Fil A The issues with the calendar seem to be working now so there should be no problems with the website and adding to the calendar. Thanks yo everyone who donated dinner cards! Any questions or suggestions please continue to contact me directly 856-404-1830. Also, I have selected the meals to be delivered for Chrissy’s chemo days only (Thursday). Because of the many number of treatments required, I only opted for one day a week so all her chemo days will be covered for the next few months but if we get a lot of responses I may open the day after too.
