Hi friends and family! This Give in Kind campaign is your one stop, shop for updates on the Johannes family as they navigate Aja’s new diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer in her liver. Aja’s new diagnosis came in early September 2025 after completing chemotherapy, surgery and radiation to treat stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. The stage 4 cancer was found during a CT scan Aja had to check on a blood clot that was in her lung. The Johannes family is still in the very early stages of this diagnosis. There are still test results they don’t yet have but will shed more light on the legions in Aja’s liver. We will update this page as we see fit and as more information becomes available. Please keep the Johannes family in your prayers. Ian and Aja have four children ages 12, 11, 8 and 5 and all are working through the many stages of grief.
