Steve has unfortunately been dealt a very challenging hand. He has been diagnosed with T-cell lymphoblastic acute leukemia (T-ALL) and is now facing an intensive course of treatment, including chemotherapy, while undergoing additional testing to determine the full extent of his illness and the best course of treatment. As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly overwhelming and unexpected time for Steve and his family. Through all of the uncertainty, they are staying hopeful and taking things one day at a time. We’ve created this page as a way for family and friends to surround them with love and support, whether that means a meal, a gift card to help with the many unexpected expenses, or simply letting them know they are not alone in this fight.
As much as Steve would love to see everyone, we’re asking that, for everyone’s safety and to help keep germs away from him while he’s going through treatment, all Meal Train food deliveries please be left in the cooler we have set up on their front porch. We truly appreciate everyone understanding. If you live further away or aren’t able to drop off a meal, please consider donating a gift card that the family can use toward meals and other necessities. Every gesture of support means so much to Steve, Lizzie and the kids during this difficult time.
