As we welcome our newest family member home we’ve been overwhelmed by the support and love and people reaching out to see how they could best support us. This is just to help keep things organized or updated with support we could potentially use through the first few weeks home and navigating life as a family of 4. Right now, support would be most appreciated in forms of homemade meals, freezer meals, or giftcards/donations to go toward take out or delivery so we don’t have to worry about taking a newborn grocery shopping during the cold or sick season. We love soups, easy crock pot meals, pastas, Mexican food, fruit, jimmy deans maple griddle sausage egg and cheese sandwiches, or protein pancakes/waffles (the last three are Ezra’s favorites). We appreciate anyone who wants to help us during this time of transition and are so thankful for everyone who has reached out already!
Please call or text us prior to drop off if you plan to bring meals or supplies in person, especially if you’re hoping to stop in for baby snuggles as well. Please do not try to come in to see baby if you or anyone in your house has any symptoms of illness including cough, sneeze, scratchy throat, runny or stuffy nose, fever of any kind or if anyone in your household has been diagnosed or directly exposed to the flu/covid. We will have a protocol for how many days past exposure or onset of illness before we are comfortable with having someone around the newborn. This is to keep him safe and healthy as best we can.
