Gavin has been home and in pain with both a complete ACL tear and a Meniscus tear of his right knee since January 13th. He is set to have Surgery on February 20th. His recovery is expected to last around 6 weeks. Gavin’s true passion is wrestling. He is a National competitor who helped Team Florida win First Place in the Adidas National Championship last year. Sadly, he won’t be able to compete this year, something he’s been gearing up for all season. We are starting a meal train for the nights the other kids are in sports to take some pressure off the family, as well as throwing in days for lunch to be sent to Gavin and mom who will be his 24/7 nurse. Also, e veryone also knows that having a bored wrestler home everyday means he’s going to want to do nothing but snack all day so snack grocery deliveries are welcomed as well! Meal/Food/snack drop offs will also provide an opportunity for Gavin to have some visitors while he is recovering. It will do him so good to see some familiar faces during this time!!!
