Rallying Friends & Family of Maria ❤️ If you know our sister and friend , you know she is always the one showing up, helping others, and making sure everyone else is taken care of. Right now, we’re asking her village to show up for her. Brain surgery to remove a (hopefully) benign tumor is scheduled for October 1st at the UofM. Surgery will be about 5 hours followed by a 4-5 day icu/neuro floor stay. As you can imagine, Maria, Jon, and Danny are navigating a lot of uncertainty as they prepare for surgery and recovery. Maria will be on a leave from work and we all know she will go absolutly nuts trying to take it easy at home. We’ve created this page to help provide meals and financial support during this time. If you’d like to help, some of the most meaningful ways would be: 🍽️ Providing a meal (or takeout) of any sort 💌 Sending a card, care package, or gift card 🫶 Stopping by for a visit or dropping something off once she is home and ready for visitors 💛 Planning or providing something fun for Danny We’ll use this page to keep everyone updated throughout surgery and recovery, including when Maria is ready to have visitors. And, as we all know, she will absolutely want to see her people once she’s feeling up for it. ;) We are incredibly grateful for every meal, message, visit, gift, helping hand, and especially; prayer.
