Helping Taylor Recover and The Vugteveen Family

W
Story

This is from Jon and Lisa. As many of you have heard, our sweet Taylor was involved in a devastating boating accident last Saturday in Michigan. While not life threatening, it was life changing. Tomorrow Taylor will have surgery to amputate her right foot. She is devastated. We are devastated. We are sad, hurting, and struggling. But, we know we serve an Almighty God who has gone before her and we trust He will see her through this. The amount of love, prayers, and support shown to Taylor and our family has been overwhelming. We are so blessed! We continue to covet your prayers specifically for Taylor's state of mind, her surgery tomorrow - all the right conditions for surgery to go as planned and Dr. Stevens as he performs it, Taylor's healing and recovery post surgery, and the amazing doctors and staff here at DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan as they care for her. We apologize for not being able to follow up with all the love and support we have been shown. Please know we are so grateful and will continue to update when we can.

Special Notes

The meals will be for the three youngest boys and Jon for now. There are no known allergies. However, Tanner only eats chicken.
