Hi everyone, I am reaching out to ask for support for our dear friend, Hayley Fournier Carvalho, who is facing a major surgery—a double mastectomy—as she carries the BRCA gene. This is a proactive and courageous step in protecting her future, but it also comes with a significant physical and emotional recovery. As many of you know, this is an especially difficult journey for her. She lost her mom to breast cancer at a young age, and now she’s doing everything she can to be there for her own children for years to come. At home, she has four little ones who need love, care, and stability while she heals which makes this time even more challenging. This is where we can help. We’d love to support her and her family by providing meals during her recovery. We’re organizing a meal train to make sure her family is nourished and supported during this time. Having one less thing to worry about will make a meaningful difference as she focuses on healing and being with her kids.
