Stacey's Support Squad: Meals, Love & Healing

W
Story

Rallying Around Stacey: A Little Love for Someone Who Gives So Much🩵 If you know Stacey, you know that she has a massive heart for helping others, both two-legged and four-legged! As the owner of Life Horse VA, she pours so much of herself into her horses, students, friends, and the community around her. Whether she is teaching, caring for the horses, or simply being there for someone who needs her, she is always giving. Now, it is our turn to show up for her! Stacey will be undergoing major surgery and will need plenty of time to rest, recover, and focus on healing. Per doctor's orders, she won't even be allowed in the barn for at least a week due to the risk of serious infection and complications. For someone who is constantly on the go, giving 110%, and caring for everyone else, we want to make sure she and her family have one less thing to worry about during this time. We are organizing this Meal Train to help keep Stacey and her family fed, supported, and surrounded by love throughout her recovery. Whether you can prepare a home-cooked meal, arrange takeout, send a gift card, or simply share this page with others, every little bit makes a difference! Our hope is that Stacey can focus on getting better, knowing that her Life Horse family and friends have her back. Hopefully, we can make it a little easier for her to follow those doctor's orders and actually REST (it’s a stretch, I know 🤣). Thank you so much for being part of this and helping us take care of someone who means so much to so many. Let's show Stacey just how loved and appreciated she is! 🩵

Special Notes

Thank you so much for helping us care for Stacey and her family during her recovery! A few things to keep in mind: Dietary restrictions: We are still confirming any food allergies, dietary restrictions, or post-surgery requirements. Please check back for updates! Disposable containers: Please use disposable aluminum pans or containers whenever possible so there are no dishes to wash or return. Label your meals: Include the dish name, date prepared, and simple reheating instructions. If the meal can be frozen, please note that too! Easy meals are wonderful: Consider dishes that can be refrigerated, frozen, or enjoyed as leftovers. Think beyond dinner: Breakfast items, fresh fruit, snacks, and easy grab-and-go options are always appreciated. Delivery instructions: Please leave meals at Stacey's front door and text her once delivered. No need to knock or ring the doorbell. Please respect her recovery time: Stacey needs to focus on resting and healing, so please don't expect a visit during drop-off. Home-cooked meals, restaurant takeout, delivery, and gift cards are all welcome! There is absolutely no need to make anything elaborate. Thank you for helping us make sure Stacey and her family have one less thing to worry about!
