July 11th 2023 A Fort Dodge man remains in serious condition in a Des Moines hospital following a motorcycle accident Monday night. According to a Facebook post, Michael Kraft suffered a brain bleed, bruised and extremely bad skull fracture following the accident in the 1400 block of South 15th Street. Webster County Dispatch received the call at around 6pm that a motorcyclist had hit a dog in that area and the man was in need of medical attention. Life Flight was called and Kraft was taken to the hospital. Michael and his wife and children live in Fort Dodge and a go fund me has not been set up for them, but the family is asking for any help the community can provide financially or through prayers to be given directly to his wife Samantha.
