Support for Richard and Donica Fletcher (Richard’s motorcycle accident/surgery)

Story

On Thursday, January 15th, Richard Fletcher was riding his motorcycle on Middlefork Road (in the Chehalis area) when a white, windowless delivery/construction style van pulled out from Tauser Road. Richard did not have time to stop or avoid the resulting collision. The driver of the van left the scene without stopping or calling for help. Richard was left in the ditch until someone else called in the accident. The injuries are catastrophic. Richard sustained a crushed left wrist, multiple fractures in his right wrist, broken tibia and fibula, his foot was severed, among other injuries. He faces an extended hospital stay followed by rehabilitation. Richard will not be able to return to work. During this time, Donica will be traveling back and forth from their home in Onalaska to Tacoma to be there to support Richard as he undergoes surgeries and recovery. This situation has abruptly changed every aspect of their lives. Any financial support offered will go directly toward medical, travel, and living expenses as they navigate the long road ahead. More updates will be shared as information becomes available. If you are able to help, please consider contributing or sharing this with others. Every bit of financial support, makes a meaningful difference. Even sharing this link/post, and keeping Richard and Donica in your prayers is much appreciated!
