Emergency Help For The Hayes Family

W
Story

Hi, I’m Emily. If you’re reading this, thank you for taking a moment to hear our story. I’ll be honest, writing this has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Asking for help isn’t something that comes naturally to me. I’ve always believed that if I just worked harder or figured things out on my own, we’d eventually make it through. But sometimes life catches up with you faster than you can recover. My husband and I are raising two beautiful little girls who are our entire world. We love them more than anything, and everything we do is for them. My husband works full-time on third shift. He works hard every single day to provide for our family, but despite his dedication, his income alone isn’t enough to cover our monthly expenses anymore. Like so many families, we’ve been trying to stretch every dollar, cut every expense we can, and make it work, but we’ve reached a point where we simply can’t do it alone. I’ve been trying to get back into the workforce because I know we need two incomes to become financially stable again. The problem is that we only have one vehicle, and with my husband’s overnight schedule and two young daughters who need childcare, finding a job I can actually get to has been incredibly difficult. We also can’t afford daycare until I’m working, but I can’t work without daycare. It feels like we’re stuck in a cycle that we just can’t break on our own. I’m also working toward my college degree because I’m determined to build a better future for our family. I’m not looking for someone to rescue us or solve our problems forever. We’re doing everything we can to change our circumstances. We just need a little help getting over this hurdle. The funds raised will go directly toward helping us get back on our feet: • Rent: $4,600 to keep our family in our home for the next two months. • Daycare: $2,680 for one month so I can return to work. • Utilities: $300 to keep our home running. • Car payment: $580 so we can keep our only vehicle and continue getting to work, daycare, and everything our family depends on. I won’t pretend this hasn’t taken a toll on me. The constant worry, the sleepless nights, and wondering how we’re going to make everything work have been overwhelming. There have been days when I’ve felt completely defeated. But then I look at my girls, and I remember exactly why I have to keep fighting. I’m asking for help because I refuse to stop trying. Our goal is simple: keep our home, get our girls into daycare, allow me to return to work, continue my education, and rebuild our family’s stability. We don’t want to live this way, we want the chance to work our way out of it. If you’re able to help, whether through a donation, a meal, a gift card, sharing our story, or simply keeping us in your thoughts, please know that it means more than we could ever put into words. Your kindness won’t just help pay bills. It will help keep two little girls in the home they know, help a hardworking father continue providing for his family, and help a mother finally take the next step toward getting back to work. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read our story. Thank you for seeing us, and thank you for giving our family hope during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. With gratitude, Emily, Tyler, Avery & Macie
