Hi, my name is Natoshi Dubose, and I’m a single mother from Sacramento, California. I’ve always prided myself on working hard and finding a way—even when life made things difficult. But in recent years, an unfortunate series of events turned my life upside down, and I’m now humbly asking for help as I work to rebuild for myself and my child. For years, I supported my family through gig work—driving for DoorDash, Uber, Lyft, and working as a medical courier. But unreliable and expensive vehicle rental programs, paired with purchasing multiple used cars that all turned out to be lemons, left me without dependable transportation. Without a working car, I lost all my sources of income. Suddenly, I was jobless and soon after, homeless—not because I didn’t want to work, but because I couldn’t get to work. It’s heartbreaking and humiliating to fall so far when all you’ve done is try to stay afloat. Now I’m starting over and trying to rebuild.I’ve already started applying for remote work and support programs. I hold a degree in Healthcare Administration, and have over 10 years of experience in customer service, administration, and caregiving roles. I know I can bounce back—I just need a real chance. Every dollar makes a difference. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your network. You could be the reason my family finds stability again.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting. With gratitude, Natoshi Dubose
