Love for Cambria and Family

Clarkston, MI

Story

What began as an appointment with a lactation consultant to discuss chronic clogged milk ducts, ended with a breast cancer diagnosis and some of the most intense and scary weeks of our lives. Specifically, Cambria was diagnosed on June 19th with stage 3c HER2+ Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Inflammatory Breast Cancer, or IBC). Ever the overachiever, Cambria's type of cancer happens to be rare and more aggressive than other types of breast cancer. To tackle this, the cancer treatment plan (for now) includes six rounds of chemotherapy, followed by a full mastectomy and eventually radiation. Without a doubt, our family will endure some very difficult things throughout the next several months.... And we thought having twins was going to be the hardest part of our 2025!...So again, we find ourselves looking to our village for offerings of support, love, and positivity as we navigate the unknown. Chemo begins July 2nd. We will try our best to keep everyone informed along the way. Much love to you all.

Special Notes

Our biggest needs right now are all of the positive energy, prayers, and good vibes we can get! My health is a priority, of course, but keeping our family life as stable and intentional, as possible, is also a focus. But, if you're not local and looking for other ways to help, any type of gift card is a great idea for our family.
