Elaine is so appreciative for the love, calls, and prayers that her friends and church family are bringing to her life. After taking a hard fall on September 30, 2025, she’s now preparing for a Reverse Total Shoulder Replacement surgery to repair the damage and restore her strength and mobility to her shattered left shoulder. Recovery will take several months and will require keeping her arm immobilized for 4-6 weeks, followed by a long period of physical therapy to rebuild movement and confidence in her shoulder. As she recovers, she’s been instructed to do the hardest thing imaginable — sit still and let others help! Several of her friends have asked how they can assist and after discussing limitations with her doctor gift cards or small financial contributions toward groceries or easy meals would be the easiest and be so helpful. And in true Elaine fashion, she’s promised to come back with stories, wit, and gratitude (and brownies) once she’s back on her feet. Prefer to cook instead of sending a card? Porch drop-offs are more than welcome as well! Please feel free to reach out to me (Jennifer) so we can coordinate a time.
Elaine is diabetic but has no food allergies and is appreciative of your care, concern, and most of all prayers!
