Helping Desiree Heal 💕

I went in for what was supposed to be a routine gallbladder surgery, but unfortunately there were major complications during the procedure. My bile duct and an artery were cut, which caused serious injuries and resulted in me being transferred out of state for a higher level of care. On September 23rd, I underwent a major reconstruction surgery to repair the damage, including reconstructing my bile duct to my small intestine. I am still in the hospital recovering and have a long road ahead of me before I am able to get back to normal and take care of everything at home again. In the meantime, my mom has stepped in to take care of our kids while I’m here and throughout the beginning of my recovery. With everything she is taking on, meals are one of the biggest ways we could use some help right now. Any meals can be delivered to my mom’s house so she has one less thing to worry about and can focus on keeping the kids taken care of while I focus on healing. We are incredibly thankful for every prayer, message, meal, and person who has reached out or helped our family through this. 🤍🧿
