Shaun Myvett lived a life defined by faith, love, and service. To know Shaun was to experience kindness, encouragement, and the quiet strength of a woman who made people feel seen, welcomed, and deeply cared for. Her relationship with God was the foundation of everything she did. Whether serving at her home church at Lancaster Baptist Church or later in her Belizean church, Shaun faithfully lived out her calling to love others. She sang in the church choir, welcomed visitors at the front desk with a warm smile, and helped newcomers find their way, not just through the church building, but into a community where they belonged. Aside from Soulwinning, one of the ministries closest to her heart was serving as a Tender Love and Care (TLC) Mom. Shaun lovingly walked alongside women who were new to the church or without family support, offering encouragement, friendship, and a listening ear. She also mentored younger women, sharing wisdom, praying with them, and reminding them they were never alone. She had a gift for making people feel like family. Above all else, Shaun cherished her family. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Tony, and a loving mother to her children, T'Shawn and Shakeel. She poured her heart into her family, finding joy in caring for those she loved and creating a home filled with the love of God, warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. Her love was steadfast, selfless, and unconditional. Before retiring, Shaun worked as a computer instructor to elementary school children, where she shared her knowledge with patience, compassion, and dedication. In retirement, she and Tony fulfilled a dream of enjoying a peaceful life together in Belize, surrounded by the beauty of the place they called home and the people they loved. Shaun also had a beautiful, creative spirit. She loved arts and crafts and found joy in gathering with friends for diamond painting. She was an avid knitter and cross-stitcher, creating handmade gifts and keepsakes that reflected the love and care she poured into everything she did. Whether through a conversation, a prayer, or something she made with her own hands, Shaun always found ways to bless others. Her legacy is not measured only by the many roles she held, but by the countless lives she touched through her compassion, generosity, and unwavering faith. She loved deeply, served faithfully, and reflected Christ in both the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we are comforted knowing that her life was a beautiful testimony of God's love, and her impact will continue to live on through everyone she encouraged, mentored, and loved.
