Story
For those who don't know or just want a quick refresher, an MRI on Griffin in January yielded upsetting results--a tumor on his brain stem. A week later he underwent brain surgery where we found that the tumor was *in* his brain stem not on it. What was already a tricky surgery became much more difficult. His amazing surgeon, Dr. Roque + team was able to remove 40% of the tumor safely, but couldn't get all of it. We did get some good news-the tumor was not cancerous and was growing at a slow rate, BUT we still needed to get rid of the remaining 60% (esp. given it's sensitive location). We now embark on a year+ of chemo. Griffin is going each week (on Wednesdays). We are ready to tackle this head on. Thank y'all for sending us supper, but also for praying over us as we go through this challenging time. Every well-wish, prayer and moment you take to consider us is felt at the deepest level. All my love, Steph-
