Our beloved friend, Marie, and her family are walking through an incredibly difficult time following the loss of her father, who passed away peacefully on August 20th surrounded by the people he loved most. His health declined quickly at the end of this summer, when his family learned that he had end-stage cancer that had spread from his remaining kidney to his liver and lungs. He was also experiencing significant heart complications. After a very difficult and heartbreaking time, his family was blessed to be by his side as they said goodbye. As they navigate the days and weeks ahead, we would love to surround them with the same love and care they have so generously given to others. Grief can make even the simplest everyday tasks feel overwhelming, and providing a meal is one small way we can help lighten their load and remind them that they are not alone. Marie will be spending a significant amount of time at her parent’s house to help her mother so all meals should be delivered there.
