As many of you know, Colleen was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. She is starting chemo treatments in Bryn Mawr on October 3. Between treatments and having four young kids at home, the Salandrias are going to need are help! Let's rally together and show them how much we care by signing up for their meal train or offering help in other ways. Whether you make something homemade or send a gift card, every gesture makes a difference. Thank you in advance for being amazing family, friends, and neighbors.
In general, the Salandria Kids are good eaters and enjoy a variety of meals/foods. According to Emma, some of their favorities are stirfry, Mexican, chili, pulled pork, chicken caesar salad, italian, and soup. Here are some local restaurants where gift cards and takeout are appreciated: Vita Bella Village Kitchen Las Olas Yesterday's Tokyo Mandarin GIuseppe's Gourmet When signing up, please provide the meal you are preparing so we limit repeated meals close together. Please drop off meals by 4:30 PM - there will be a cooler outside. Please do not knock as Colleen may be resting. If possible, please send disposable containers, as it may be difficult for Colleen and Matt to keep track of who the dishes belong to. On chemo weeks, family and friends who live close to Bryn Mawr can drop meals off at her sister Erin's house (31 E. Langhorne Ave, Havertown, PA 19083). There will be a cooler on the front porch if we are not home. Chemo Thursdays are Oct3, Oct17, Oct31, Nov14, Nov28 (skip), Dec12, Dec26 (skip), Jan9.
