Story

In 2022, I was diagnosed with Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer. After surgery and 6 rounds of chemo, I was disease free! The experience left me closer to God with a zeal for life that is unmatchable! It was not without its complications though. I had a leukemia scare and chemo killed my thyroid so I will take medication for that for the rest of my life. Because my white blood cells never recovered from chemo-I cannot take the needed maintenance medications, so cancer is always a threat. After almost 4 years of being cancer free-its back. At the end of March, they found a small lymph node size tumor in my right pelvis. This means more surgery for me. On Monday (4/5), they will go in to see if this cancer is removable. We are praying that it is. If it is-they will have to open me up all the way and I will be hospitalized for most of the week. If they do not-I will likely just be in the hospital a day or two. After that-I have to do 6 more rounds of chemo. Each round will be 3 weeks apart. If you are here, that means you at least care enough to read my story. First and foremost-I covet your PRAYERS. Anything else is icing on the cake. Thank you in advance for any help you offer to our family. I am not alone in this fight and I am so lucky to have you all supporting me.

Special Notes

Food cannot have pecans or walnuts in it! We have a picky eater in our house so simple foods are best but the rest of us pretty much eat everything.
