Story
Christie and Jeff welcomed Baby Nathan Ong! As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child, and this is a great place to start. This page will allow us compile a meal train as well as give support in other ways. Please email [email protected] to identify which dates you'd like to "book" a meal for us. Guthrie will then fill this out in the calendar. We are seeking meals that are filling and high in protein. We have two meal train options for all breakfast, lunches, and dinners. One is our usual grocery list. Another is for to-go meals from our favorite places.. We would like our meals to be varied, along with a healthy balance of frozen and freshly made meals. A cooler will be placed out on our front porch, so friends and family members dropping by can place the meals inside. Visitors will be welcome a few weeks after the baby is born. We will let you know when we are ready for visitors. Please visit only if you are in good health and you are fully vaccinated (Covid, TDAP, and flu). we plan on permitting fully vaccinated family members and friends to can come visit and support us. Our baby's health and safety is our priority. We do want periodic check-in’s from friends through text and/or emails. In addition to simply checking in with us, we’d love to receive jokes, parent wisdoms, or even offers to go out for walks with our baby in our neighborhood. We are open to allowing friends who work remotely to stay with us and provide support as well. Thank you for being our village!
