So we learned that breast cancer isn’t something that only happens to other people. Here's the timeline... Feb 2025: double mastectomy Jan 2025: last chemo (yay!) Sep 2024: start chemo Aug 2024: breast cancer - huh? July 2024: what's this lump under my arm? May 2024: lump still there - mammogram, all clear May 2023: what's this lump? mammogram, all clear It turns out I have 2 different types of breast cancer, one on each side, undiagnosed for over a year through at least 2 mammograms - somehow I have cancer that is invisible to mammograms. This won't be easy, but I am in the best possible hands. Carl, Ben & Zack will need extra support, especially with meals - I'm not sure anyone could survive on their skillset of frozen pizza, grilled cheese, and ramen. Never underestimate the impact of your kindness - I cannot express how much it is appreciated. I am blown away by the outpouring of love. Thank you
