Hi everyone! Thank you for wanting to help and for all your support! My Auntie Bing or Mabel was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer on March 11 2026. She is the full time caregiver for my 92 year old Lola, or as most of you know her as Lola Norie. As Auntie Bing embarks on this challenge she has expressed her fears of making sure Lola will be taken care of. So I am asking for help in making sure both auntie bing and Lola are fed. Auntie bing will be getting her port placed Tuesday April 21, and starting chemotherapy at MD Anderson starting April 22 2026 and will get it weekly for 3 months. Then will change to another chemotherapy the following 3 months, followed by surgery and radiation. This will be a challenging year for her and our family so any support is greatly appreciated! I have set the meal train for twice a week but honestly any food is appreciated!
Dietary restrictions- no raw foods, deli food, or fresh fruit Visitation- guests are welcome however if you have even a slight cold please stay home. With the chemo she will be immunocompromised and at risk for even the smallest infection.
